چکیده
Endodontic flare-up or post-operative pain occurs when debris such as necrotic pulp tissue, dentin chips, irrigants, and microorganisms are extruded from the apical foramen intraoperatively into periradicular tissue during root canal instrumentation. This study compared amount of extrusion layer after using reciprocating rotary file systems (WaveOne, ProTaper Next Gold). Sixty extracted human maxillary central incisors with one closed apex were included in study. Samples randomly equally divided three groups (n = 20) according to used for preparation canal. Teeth WO group instrumented by WaveOne, while PTN Next, teeth samples PTG cleaned shaped Gold. The mean apically weight grams was estimated modified Myers Montgomery experimental model. Analysis variance (ANOVA) test comparison groups. Post hoc LSD applied pairwise weight. α value significance 0.05. had significantly lower than (p 0.001). revealed that there a statistically significant difference between (0.0215 vs. 0.0341, p 0.001); 0.0324, 0.003). Root preparations different associated layer. However, WaveOne system resulted comparatively Gold systems.

OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to compare the amount of apically extruded debris during preparation with ProTaper Universal (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), ProTaper Next (Dentsply Maillefer), a reciprocating single-file (WaveOne; VDW GmbH, Munich, Germany), and a self-adjusting file (SAF; ReDent Nova, Ra'anna, Israel). MATERIALS AND METHODS Fifty-six intact mandibular pre...
متن کاملEvaluation of Apically Extruded Debris during Root Canal Retreatment Using ProTaper Next and Reciproc in Severely Curved Canals
INTRODUCTION To compare the apical extrusion of debris produced during root obturating material removal from severely curved root canals using either Reciproc (REC) or ProTaper Next (PTN) systems. METHODS AND MATERIALS Twenty-six mesial canals of lower molars were instrumented, filled and allocated into two groups (n=13). Micro-computed tomographic images were performed to determine the root ...

OBJECTIVE This study was designed to quantitatively evaluate the amount of dentin debris extruded from the apical foramen by comparing the conventional sequence of the ProTaper Universal nickel-titanium (NiTi) files with the single-file ProTaper F2 technique. STUDY DESIGN Thirty mesial roots of lower molars were selected, and the use of different instrumentation techniques resulted in 3 group...

AIM To assess and compare the amount of extruded debris after canal preparation using ProTaper Universal and ProTaper Next files. METHODOLOGY Forty extracted mandibular premolars with single canals and of similar lengths were instrumented using the ProTaper Universal F3 or the ProTaper Next X3. The extruded debris during instrumentation was collected into pre-weighed Eppendorf tubes. The tube...

INTRODUCTION The purpose of this study was to compare the in vitro amount of apically extruded debris with new endodontic rotary nickel-titanium instruments. METHODS Sixty mandibular premolars were instrumented up to size 25 using ProTaper Universal (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), ProTaper Next (Dentsply Maillefer), Twisted File Adaptive (SybronEndo, Orange, CA), and HyFlex (Co...
